Artificial Intelligence Statement for iAssist Services Ltd

At iAssist Services Ltd, we recognise the increasing role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in administrative, operational, and professional support services.

We use AI carefully and proportionately, ensuring it reflects our values, ethical standards, and legal responsibilities under UK law.
While the EU AI Act does not apply directly in the UK, we use its risk based principles as a reference for responsible AI use, alongside UK legislation and regulatory guidance. This helps ensure AI is deployed safely, transparently, and appropriately across our services.

1. How We Use AI

We may use AI tools to support internal operations and service delivery.

This includes:
• Assisting with routine administrative tasks
• Supporting content drafting and documentation
• Improving internal workflows and efficiency
Human oversight is always maintained. AI supports our work but does not replace professional judgement, client relationships, or decision making.

2. Regulatory Alignment
Our approach to AI is guided by UK law and recognised best practice, with reference to international standards where relevant.

3. Risk Based Use

The AI tools we use are limited to low risk applications.
We do not use AI systems that:

• Make autonomous decisions about individuals
• Affect employment, contractual, or legal rights
• Operate in safety critical or high risk environments
4. Transparency

We aim to be open about how AI is used. Clients and stakeholders are informed where AI contributes to content, processes, or outputs, supporting trust and clarity.
5. Human Oversight

All AI supported activity is subject to human review. Final decisions affecting clients, partners, or stakeholders are always made by people, not automated systems.
6. Data Protection and Privacy

We comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
As standard practice:

• Personal data is not entered into AI tools
• Any data processed through AI systems is anonymised or pseudonymised
• AI tools are used in ways that respect confidentiality and privacy
7. Fairness and Bias

We remain aware of the risk of bias in AI outputs.
AI tools are reviewed regularly to reduce the risk of unfair or discriminatory outcomes. Where concerns arise, use is adjusted or stopped.
